Voon & Joshua’s Romantic Rustic Backyard Wedding Ceremony

This was the last wedding I photographed before the pandemic hits us like a storm. The last normal, mask-free, sans-social distancing wedding day. I’ll forever be grateful for this day because it serves as a reminder that there’s something amazing to look forward to after some normalcy is restored eventually.

The success of this romantic rustic backyard wedding ceremony is a joint effort between the couple, their family and friends who made it their personal mission to throw the best party for Voon and Joshua. They have creatively transformed their backyard into this amazing rustic venue where almost 100% of the decoration and wedding elements are DIY - the well pruned plants, the wooden triangle wedding arch, the scrumptious dessert table, and the minimalist naked wedding cake. Safe to say everything aligned perfectly on this leap day (29th Feb!) for them as they embark on a new journey together.
