Amanda & Hin’s Intimate Wedding Luncheon in The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, Ipoh

I’m a firm believer that when someone you care deeply about find someone special in their life, you feel their happiness too, and as a dear friend of the bride’s for more than a decade, this wedding feels extra special and personal to me.

This unique yet intimate destination wedding was held within a 260-milion-year-old cave cellar, calling it majestic is an understatement. On top of that they’ve managed to keep it very personal, sharing this very intimate occasion with only close families and friends. Merrymaking was also accompanied by great food (an absolute must!), heart-warming speeches and music performances by family members - everything just felt perfect. This is definitely one of the most memorable weddings in my books (yes, it’s also very challenging to photograph but hey, I love a good challenge!) to date. Against all odds of planning everything remotely, while grappling with the pandemic, they made it happen at long last and it’s my greatest pleasure to document these very special moments for them.

Amanda and Hin could not be more different than each other, but as the old adage goes - opposites attract and make the best partnership in doing life together; think of it as peanut butter and jelly; they’re fine on their own, but better when paired together. Amanda and Hin, may your marriage and love age wonderfully like the wine collection in Jeff’s Cellar, with absolute grace, kindness and patience.
